WOW, YOU ARE SO FULL OF SHIT!

seriously, this shit has got to stop. here are some of the things that didn't make it on the final version of "that" blog. you know the one about "the real jdm". yea, that one. the day that we mount the wheels and tires on "that" gtr. i told the customer, why didn't you order the rear wheels wider? "why" he asked. "because the way the car sits, the back wheel needs to come out more" i told him. so project kics was ordered. shipped and installed today. along with some other bs i heard. i just don't understand how can people make money like that. i don't treat everyone that comes in the door a cash cow. and if the customer wants to do something on the car and it wasn't put on the car, i would either not charge the customer for the work that was not done. or make sure its done. unless its something i can't do, in that case, the customer will not be charged. this is what i'm talking about.

from that blog:

My particular favorite things about the car are:

1. The scary strategy of mating the Esprit dry carbon intercooler duct with the Wald front bumper - Success! And look at how massive that Esprit intercooler is behind there!

2. The Esprit Dry Carbon Rear wing - My favorite wing for the GT-R right now.

3. The unrelenting quality of parts used - The Carbon Dry hood, the full titanium Amuse exhaust system, the Top Secret titanium intercooler piping, etc. I love building cars that dont cut any corners and everything is done with quality.

here is the other side of the story:

1. no, it doesn't. if anything now the intercooler is too small. if you see the car in person you will notice the gap on each side, on top of that, its one of those thing you have to see in person to really understand how un-professional the work was considering how much money was spent on it. (i'm being picky, i'm sorry)

2. its cool, but the dry carbon doesn't match the dry carbon in the front on the grill.

3. unrelenting quality of parts used... dude, wtf! the carbon dry hood is actually heavier then stock. wayyyyy heavier! building cars that don't cut corners? everything was done with quality? how the fawk do you sleep at night? carbondry center shifter piece was not even on right. the right side corner was overlapping the center shifter itself, and the shifter was hitting it. what about the mines carbon fiber muffler protector? that was left in the car. the customer was told to go to a reliable bodyshop to get it put on. so why the hell did you say you put that on the car? its not on, i have it sitting on my desk. on top of that the poor guy just moved to boston, he doesn't know who and where is a "good" bodyshop around here, and you're sending him off to chase ghosts? at least do some homework and show he where to go. you milked him for all that money that is the least you can do. or put the fucking thing on like your suppose to in the first place. i'm sure the customer was charged a arm and a leg for a piece that looked like a titek part. he had also mention that he was working on a limited budget. so how are you gonna spent 170k when he only wanted to spend 120k? i'm bad at math, but how? treat customers like customers, not money cow. stop milking.

last but not least, we mount the tires, not you. and guess what, "R" is a nice guy, and i just felt the need to help him from being a pushed over. see you at sema. oh wait, the car is not going. (because the customer has to pay for the transport) how does that work? a signature build that was build for the customer and you want him to pay for being your showcase? douchebag, wow, you truly are full of shit...

project kics 15mm hub centic spacers (rear only)

you can't see it, but he likes his new plate frame
where is the mines cf muffler protector?

am i being too mean?

SPEED IMAGE, MO AND I HAVE A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP...

haha i have to give my dear friend mo from speed image in denver, colorado. he has come a long way changing the image of speed image after taking over about 5 years ago. here is his latest car in action.

hands down to mo!

ok i'm really gonna go now.

LET'S ALL TALK SHIT BECAUSE WE CAN'T AFFORD IT.

we all have opinions, but its all about personal references. now don't get me wrong, I'm not a fence sitter either. there are things i find stupid or not in my liking, but sometimes things just go out of control. places like forums, car meets, etc are suppose to help with our community (the "car" scene), but just like everywhere we go there are assholes and people who just overlook other people's hard work or little extra touch they put on the car. yes, even though there are some really fuck up shit people put on there cars. but just because i don't like it, it just means its not for me and I'm not gonna go out of my way to express my disliking to the owner unless they ask for my opinion.

as some of you may know, i was giving the opportunity to work on a gtr r35 here in the Boston area. the customer (who is now a pretty good friend of mine) let me do just about everything i wanted on the car. but it really wasn't like that at all. because if everything thing was up to me the car would just turn into another one of these "jdm" nut swingers "i wish", or "that's the shit" blah, blah, blah, everyone lets talk about it car on the Internet. keep in mind, this car is nowhere near the coolest radar. (well, to the bad ass mother fuckers on the gtr forum) it doesn't have a 20k bodykit, its not filled with bunch of bunch of over priced carbon fiber accents in the interior, and it does not have 6k exhaust systems that also comes with a blow job, fanboys, nut swingers.

please hate on the:
non jdm stillen pu lip kit
non jdm (kinda shitty, but it was the only thing at the time) agency power intercooler pipping
non jdm type one racing coilovers
non jdm synapse engineering bovs
non jdm savini 3 piece wheels 5inch lip in the front, 7 inch lip in the rear.
non jdm, non dry carbon, apr gt500 wing
non jdm status seat belt harness
non jdm animal house racing intake gasket
non jdm forge actuators
non jdm agency power intake
non jdm type one racing downpipes
non jdm cobb access port
moonface tow hook
okada project plasma direct coilpacks
hks spark plugs
5 zigen race exhaust system
trust/greddy intercooler

i know i left out a few things but its been so long since those parts were put in.

another fine example will be this gtr. build for "r" by the guy that owns gt-rr or bulletproof automotive or the real jdm. yes, the one and only ben schiffer. its got all the hardcore jdm parts that most nut swinger would cut off their nuts for. and i had to mount the goddamn hre's on a cold freaking Saturday afternoon. don't get me wrong, the car has the "wow" factor, filled with jdm bling. but for fucksake the body shop could of cleaned the freaking car better. and left out parts? the guy spent that much to have parts that's suppose to be on the car left in the car. and the hardcore carbondry shift bezel that don't or didn't get fitted right. yup, i fixed it. well, maybe some of you will see this car at sema.

that's all for tonight.

blogging is quite a bit of work.

i was called a fan boy today for following other people's advice on things.
makes me wonder...
what is the difference between a fan boy and a supporter?

the first day of my second life

i've been wanting to put a blog together, but never got around to it. today, i figured why not.

garage kings is something i put together. yes, its a car club. nothing special. in another way, its like a part of my family.

social gathering, interests, work or just about anything is worth the blog. in terms of memories, or for memory's sake, it is always good look back at this and realized how much time has passed and personal growth. memories is all we have, so memories we shall create.
